ASx Acquirer Functionality
|
ASx supports incoming transactions from both direct and indirectly
connected devices. Online devices such as ATMs, are managed in terms of control
and state directly by ASx using an appropriate protocol for the specific device.
Devices that come online only to perform a transaction or for settlement purposes,
such as POS devices, are controlled by ASx for the duration of the transaction or
upload only.
ASx processes transactions from indirectly connected devices through one or more
device networks connected in a similar way to a standard interchange connection.
Such device networks will usually consolidate transactions and remove the device
specific element from incoming transaction messages.
ASx provides interfaces for external device management products which can be used
in addition to, or in place of, the ASx device management features.
For POS devices, ASx supports terminal control, downloading of parameters/hotlists
and uploading of transaction history. Additionally, single message, paperless settlement
of merchant transactions is supported.
ASx can perform reconciliation on a per-device or per-merchant basis. For more information
please select the "Settlement" link.
ASx allows granular control of merchants including setting floor limits, merchant
and sub-merchant limits etc.
