Management information is provided by ASx to report upon the availability
of the complete installation and to analyze the transaction processing from a business
perspective.
ASx is supplied with a standard set of reports that are formatted from data extracted
from the ASx database using ASx's standard data extraction utilities. Consequently,
the standard reports can be modified to suit individual customer requirement very
simply. Therefore, additional information can be made available when, for example,
managers wish to review the success of a marketing campaign.
The standard reports include transaction statistics broken down by issuer, network,
interchange, merchant, bin range and device. The statistics can show transactions
authorized, declined and rerouted.
Service availability reports show the number of hours that connected networks and
devices have been available for use. This is particularly useful to analyze potential
lost business due to failure in accessing a network over which transactions should
be routed or to establish how effectively your connected devices are being managed.

Alerts
|
ASx can raise alerts when system abnormalities or security conditions
are detected and when business conditions or events are identified, for example,
when a potential fraud is detected.
These alerts can be passed to other industry-standard third-party alert management
solutions, for example, HP OpenView or IBM Tivoli. Alternatively, ASx can send email
and SMS text alerts to a predefined number of recipients.
All alerts are logged to the ASx database at the time they are raised and can be
reported upon if required.
